They are ok they don’t last very long but they are worth it

Another great tool for tattoo apprentices to get a little bit more familiar with stipple shading / whip shading.

Usage Tip: if you're going to use this in very long practice sessions I would suggest get a piece of synthetic skin that you can order off Amazon and put it underneath cardstock paper. The reason you don't want to use regular paper is because when you're practicing any whip shading or stipple shaded sometimes you might want to experiment with voltage... Continuous use on paper with this cartridge will eat through the paper so consider using cardstock it holds up a little bit more than regular paper. Also by using synthetic skin underneath the cardstock paper absorbs the shock from your machine hitting harder surfaces.

Bought these, along with a tattoo machine, as a birthday gift for my god daughter. She is a fantastic artist and eventually wants to start a tattoo apprenticeship. Being 16, we thought this would be a good way for her to practice and get used to the vibrations of a tattoo machine without having the needles and ink yet. She was so excited when she opened her gift and has raved about how much she loves the pen cartridges. Will definitely be ordering more in the future.

I enjoy this product and I plan to use it more.
